The Form summary function allows you to create an overview of the most important properties of a form. This is returned by Xima® Formcycle as a PDF document.

Templates

By default, no template is pre-selected, generating the profile with a default template from Xima® Formcycle.

Using templates

A .doc/.docx file can also be used as a template. It must be uploaded either in the client or directly in the form under Files. Such a file can be selected in the dialog by first selecting the source (client or form) and then the file itself.

Creating templates

Profile creation templates are Word documents in which certain form control elements have been inserted, which Xima® Formcycle fills with corresponding content similar to actions of the Word-Fill type. The template can be adapted as a Word file in content and form at will.

Note that to create or customize a profile template, the developer tools in Word must be enabled for the form control elements to be inserted and edited. For information about using form control elements in Word and enabling the developer tools, see the Voraussetzungen Word-Fill page.

Content insertable with form control elements

The possible placeholders for inserting content using form control elements are listed in the following table:

ContentPlaceholder codeDescription and notes
Form titleform_title
Preview image of the formform_preview_image.b64img(450)Inserts the preview image of the form. A width and height value in pixels can be passed to the function, e.g. form_preview_image.b64img(579~|410), where 579 is the width and 410 is the height. If only a width (form_preview_image.b64img(579)) or height (form_preview_image.b64img(~|410)) is specified, the image will be scaled to maintain its original aspect ratio.
Form descriptionform_description
Number of elementselements_countThe number of input elements in the form.
Last updateform_updateDate of the last update.
Link to formform_link.url()Link to call the form on the master server.

Contents that can be inserted with normal text as placeholders

For the following contents, the corresponding placeholder must be inserted directly as text in the Word document. At the respective places these placeholders are replaced by tables during the creation of the profile.

ContentPlaceholderDescription and notes
Workflow«form_workflow_html»Overview of all states available in the workflow, including the actions contained.
Used data sources«form_datasource_html»Overview of all data sources used in the form and the associated form elements.
List of used elements«form_elements_html»Overview of all form elements with name, label, alias, (data) type, required field status and attributes. This table is relatively wide - It is therefore recommended to use this placeholder on a page in landscape format.

Download the original templates

If no custom template is selected, Xima® Formcycle uses a custom Word file to create the profiles. As an example, and to make it easier and faster to derive your own profile templates, these templates can be downloaded here:
